Tilda
Publish articles straight into a Tilda blog feed through Tilda's MCP endpoint.
ProgSEO can publish articles straight into a Tilda Feed — the blog module of a Tilda website. Each article becomes a feed post with its title, cover image, SEO fields and the body as editor blocks. There is nothing to install on the site: ProgSEO talks to Tilda's own MCP endpoint using a token from your Tilda account.
Before you start
- A Tilda project with Feeds activated and at least one standard blog/news feed (custom CMS feeds with their own fields are not supported).
- A page that displays the feed, so published posts have a public URL. Tilda places posts under that page, at
/tpost/<post id>.
Connect Tilda
- 1
Create an MCP token in Tilda
In Tilda open Site settings → MCP and create a token. Copy it — Tilda shows it only once.
- 2
Find the project id
It is the number in the Tilda URL while you edit the site:
tilda.cc/projects/?projectid=1234567. - 3
Fill in the Tilda tab
In the dashboard open Integrate → Tilda, paste the token and the project id, then press Load feeds and pick the feed articles should go to. Leave the MCP endpoint at its default unless your account lives on
tilda.kz, in which case usehttps://tilda.kz/api/mcp/. - 4
Test and save
Test connection checks the token, the project and the feed without publishing anything. Save makes Tilda the active integration: from now on every generated article is published to that feed (or saved as a draft if you tick Save as drafts).
Note
The token grants access to your Tilda account. ProgSEO stores it with the site settings, never shows it again in the dashboard, and only uses it to create and update feed posts.
What gets published
| Article content | In Tilda |
|---|---|
| Headings, paragraphs, images, dividers | Native editor blocks — editable in Tilda |
| Lists, tables, quotes, FAQs, CTAs, feature grids, stats, code, diagrams, YouTube | Embed HTML blocks with .progseo-* classes and a small scoped stylesheet |
| Cover image | The post's main image and social sharing image |
| Title tag, meta description | The post's SEO title and description |
| Slug | The post URL alias |
Updates and retries
ProgSEO remembers the Tilda post id, so Republish, edits and accepted change requests update the same post instead of creating a new one. If a publish fails after the draft was created in Tilda, the retry updates that draft. Every attempt is listed in the delivery log on the Tilda tab, with the reason when it failed.
Webhook and Tilda together
A site can have both a webhook and Tilda configured, but articles go to one of them. Saving the Tilda tab makes Tilda active; saving a webhook URL on the Webhooks tab makes the webhook active. The MCP tools expose the same switch through set_tilda and set_webhook.
